Depending on interest, W8UM offers a 2-hour class on “how to solder”. Instructions in solder safety, equipment use, and technical process are provided. Each member is provided with a “kit” of some form to practice their skills. These pre-manufactured kits have included a simple radio receiver, random flashing lights and radio attenuators.
This class is limited in size due to the “solder instruction” room containing only 15 solder stations. This program fills quickly.
