The Michigan Union satellite tower was in a state of disrepair since 1990. During the Michigan Union roof repairs, the tower and antennas were dismantled and repurposed for later use at the Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Bldg. The satellite tower has been modified for use on the EECS roof (October 2024).
