Coax Building

This session provides the opportunity to make a 3’ coax jumper cable using LMR-400 or similar coax.  The steps include:

  1. learning how to cut & strip back both ends of a length of coax
  2. solder a PL-259 connector to one end of the coax
  3. learn to use the crimper tool
  4. crimp a PL-259 connector on the opposite end
  5. test the continuity of the complete jumper cable
