Scholarship Opportunity
Scholarship applications are accepted from the below organizations to University of Michigan students who have obtained their amateur radio license. The application process is relatively simple and involves the following steps:
- Join the Amateur Radio Club: umarc@eecs.umich.edu
- Take and Successfully Pass the 35-Question Technician Class Radio License multiple choice exam
- The FCC will issue your personal radio license
- Review the Eligibility Criteria and Guidelines of the below Funding Organizations
- Submit your application
- (Some Funding Organizations will require a link to the W8UM Amateur Radio Club homepage)
- American Radio Relay League (ARRL)
- Amount: $500 – $25,000
